Priyadarshini Seva Mandali (PSM)’’ a Non-Governmental Voluntary organization was registered on 27th April 1991 With noble aims and Objectives. It registered was under A.P Falsi Telangana Society registration Act 1350 F. It has a small dedicated team of staff. PSM is committed to urban & Rural development in the all aspects.

PSM  Is a Grass root action group working for the development of the under privileged by facilitating the communities to get needed skills and knowledge in the identified areas. At present the organization is working Khammam District. This group believes in facilitating community organization and women empowerment which leads to sustainable development.

PSM was registered with a group of five like- minded members and later formed into an association and got the legal status in the year 1991 to provide its services to the rural poor. Subsequently the organization choose the Khammam Rural , Kusumanchi, Bonakal, Konijarla, Kamepally and Aswaraopet Mandals for organizing the programmes like community forest Management, natural resource management, women Empowerment, thrift and credit programmes, water and sanitation, youth development programmes, national integration camp for youth, environment programs, integrated pest management, Mid day meals programmes for children ,various vocational training programs, voter campaign programs, income generation programmes ,water conservation programmes in choosen villages.

For these programmes we got the support from local government offices, municipal authorities, state government departments, Centre for Sustainable Agriculture (CSA) Hyderabad etc.

HIV/AIDS awareness programmes is been conducted by the priyadarshini seva mandali(PSM), in khammam district Recognizing our good services    “ Clinton foundation “ has entrusted the CLHA’s children nutrition programme to our organization. While conducting this programme we have identified nearly 500 HIV/AIDS +ve cases and we have arranged far their residence. Out of 500 cases, 72 cases are identified as discordant couple they have been tie up with Y.R.G care at Chennai. They have been sent to Chennai for better treatment, still there are nearly 20 cases which are to be sent to Chennai. Out of 72 cases there was eight pregnant ladies were safely delivered, and gave birth to healthy children with out any deformation. Among the 500 HIV/AIDS cases about 150 cases are getting nutrition support with the help of Clinton foundation through PSM. Every month and also CD4 counting is been done and ART medicine are also provided to them for better recovery.
