Education is the key to development of any nation, at present the education system is not in reach of poor; especially the women who work to feed their family are facing great trouble to take care of their children when they go for work. PSM identified issue as an important one and started 6 CRECHE centers in Khammam Rural Mandal to support the children from 150 families; these 150 children are being given nutrition support and pre schooling apart from care by the teacher and ayah.

AP state social welfare board is kind enough to support this initiative to help the children from poorest of poor communities of the intervention area. Local educated women have been identified and trained in Play way schooling to inculcate the habit of schooling to the children enrolled in these centers. So, PSM plans to organize the following programs for children.

Creches, Balwadis, Pulse Polio- Immunization Camps, Vaccination, Well Babby Shows , Children’s Day-and Foster-Care(orphans, destitute and street children, day care centers)
