Women empowerment initiative is being implemented in 10 villages of Khammam Rural Mandal to make the women folk aware of their rights and to build their capacities to meet the day to day challenges arise at different situation of life. These women folk have been formed into village level groups and trained in leadership development as well as in life education.

Adolescent girls have been oriented in reproductive rights and sexuality issues to make them enlightened in HIV and other health aspects. They have also been trained in acts related to domestic violence and Martial rights. PSM has organized 6 training camps in the intervention area and a campaign is going on to spread the message. This initiative is being implemented by a group of NGOs in network approach.
